Campbell Soup in Paris is laying off 205 of the 568 employees. The plant is transitioning to a smaller workforce. Soup production at the facility ends May 1 as the factory shifts to manufacturing Prego Italian sauces and Pace Mexican salsa. Employees who remain until their layoff date are eligible for separation benefits. The plant has been in operation for 61 years.
