With the exception of Permian every asset Doug bought has been sold. Eagle Ford and all of Newfield (Ok,ND and UT) also voted highest paid lowest performing CEO. He should have came in for the first restructure as ECA was going out of business with ops over 19 areas and they been given a big bag of money to walk into the sunset.
David O’Brien started the sh!t show. One of the most corrupt and mismanaged O&G companies in the last 20 years. Before the Cenovus split, EnCana had an Enterprise value of around 55 Billion. Now look. I hope things work out for everyone.
@w5 and how would that look any different than what has happened the last few years? Do you think he would have just done it quicker? It would have been less headache that way...
@w5 Maybe he would’ve sold all of the Canadian assets that has our valuations in the gutter right now.
@OP hahaha. Praying for Doug to come back is hilarious. That guy only knew how to cut and sell. If he was still here the company would have been broken up for parts already and there’d be even less jobs. Give your head a shake
