Experienced folks are leaving the company! Lots of retirements. We better hang on to these folks so we can leverage the learnings built up over time. Mentoring new employees is another reason. AI is NOT a substitute!!

For the first time in my working career, I feel like I'm just a number on a spreadsheet.
EM Executives set goals about how many experienced people they want to exit.
When there are not enough experienced people to check and catch mistakes from BTC, then EM will likely have a Valdez level event.
The actions and policies being implemented to push experienced people out the door and staff up with people willing to work for 1/10 the normal rates will be labeled Root Causes.

Benefits of all kinds have been reduced, the campus is no longer an enjoyable place to work due to the many subtle, and not so may subtle changes, there’s no appreciation for employees. Why stay? I’m waiting for them to oust me, until then I’ll be collecting my paycheck. Unless I get fed up enough and just quit first.

LOL Most of the really talented folks have already left this sinking ship either through attrition, retirement, or forced PIP. The remnants are just collecting their paychecks.
