Once I stopped obsessing over the highest possible pay, I found tons of opportunities. I want a place with actual culture and job security, all things Medtronic lacks. Less money, sure, but 15 percent less is worth it for my sanity. Interviews are already lining up.

Yes, flexible. Like traveling to India. But almost a certainty you won't like the pay cut. And they know it.
I just found a fully remote job but took a 10% pay cut. After taxes, gas, maintenance, and time it works out favorable net positive for the 10% cut. Factoring the stress and toxicity, it’s just a no brainer. Opportunity exists just need to look.

I heard of 2nd and 3rd shift Union shop MFG jobs are paying $5+ an hour more than MDT. Just have to make life style changes.
