- Voyix Software is terrible and might work in 5 years (20 more quarters or what you already know…RIF cycles.) AI driven software coding from actual BigTech software companies will beat anything Voyix attempts in 5 years. Software is the only strategy Jim Kelly and Board have for Voyix…that should should concern you.
- Voyix has given up on hardware w/the ODM move. The company leadership and strategy is toward cr-ppy software (see above). No one is is focused on selling hardware and hence sales/revenue will continue to decline while competitors like Toast and Toshiba who really want to and are committed to be in the hardware business take market share.
- Hardware and Desk Services - the actual heart of Voyix revenue and earnings is going to continue to decline as it did throughout all 2024 & 2025. No focus, priority, or investment is given to it in Voyix. Voyix hasn’t trained a service technician in its training centers in an entire year to save $.

Seems odd to hear about hardware, to be honest anything NCR hardware wise has been over prices and behind the times in technology, customers who bought it will never buy it again, there are so many other options that cost much less and are way better and come along with a low cost service plan using replacement units shipped instead of technicians, saving customers a ton of money.
Payments sounded like a great idea, but the big names like visa and Mastercard have a stronghold, too late to the game to make it viable.
Software, Voyix will probably be no different than others, using AI to generate software through outsourced employees at low cost, but the competitors are fierce, and the brand name of NCR has been discontinued with Voyix, blending right into the mix with everyone else trying to compete.
The pilot is steering the plane into the ground, don’t be on that plane unless your looking for a gift of severance pay and unemployment to propel you into retirement.
He seems to waffle back and forth between saying payments and saying software is the strategy - whichever isnt failing worst around the times the earnings call is. He said June of last year that Payments revenue would start to kick in and contribute to the Voyix growth. Guess what didn’t happen and still hasn’t happened.
