Well? We’re waiting
@OP This company has always been top heavy, no matter what era you look back to. 2020 was supposed to flatten the org, that didn't work out very well. Would like to believe they will create an org that values workers by reducing bureaucracy, creating clear and direct reporting lines, and compensating people for doing their jobs well, not just because they have a management title. Ovintiv is neither the best nor worst place to be, but the constant reorgs are getting exhausting.
@dq SVP and Brendan built a top heavy org so now VP level has to pay for it, I assume this is layer one and we will slowly over time go a layer at a time. I suppose SVP level had no changes. Not sure who is doing the math if you are having a 25-30 percent layoff and all 4 SVP plus Brendan are still there??? Feels like one of them should be gone too.
@dg awesome LFG!!!! We should’ve gotten rid of these VPs years ago!!! McCrackin’ dollar menu baby!!! Dooooo doo doooo dooo dooo, I’M LOVING IT!!!

Heard the VP of midstream so far.
Posting names isn’t allowed and could get the thread nuked - the mods here take that seriously. Let’s keep it a bit more broad so the discussion doesn’t get locked.
