Thread regarding GlobalFoundries layoffs

IBM to GF

management at IBM had to be one to the worse I have ever seen. writing was on the wall. there was no long term investment... all they care about was quarterly stock price. when GF took over, same IBM management ran the company. no surprise on the outcome.

respectfully disagree that "IBM were smart". On a second thought, paying $1.5B to GloFo was a good riddance of TC and other IBM SM rejects ;-)

A hundred bucks to whomever can incorporate "boot li---r" or "a-s li---r" more in a single post by matching or beating the current buffoon posting these terms.

IBM were smart. They dumped their trash and rejects on GF. This trash and rejects of ibm in their new roles as CEO and senior leadership of GF hired rejects and trash of other companies into GF . And we ordinary employee all ended up with this trashy, toxic working environment where only boot lickers thrive and best talents are laid off.

Make no mistake about it - It’s the rejects of ibm. The bottom of the barrel. Ibm went out of their way to keep those worth keeping. Moving them into roles that the individuals had never did before or any experience with. But ibm knew despite this lack of experience those worth keeping would still find a way to flourish. That’s why they are worth retaining. The others were sent to GF. GLOBALFOUNDRIES got the reject throwaways. They feral cats all sent to an island - we are that island. Globalfoundries is feral cat island. It was a perfect excuse for ibm to cull the herd of the lake and sickly
