If you’re over 40 years old or recently took FMLA be sure to file a claim with the EEOC and DOL. Fiserv currently has a ton of cases against them and they’re settling for much more than severance packages. If the “Needs Improvement” was a surprise be sure to submit complaints to HR to start the documentation. And tell them you filed claims with EEOC and DOL. They are about to have a huge class action taking the stock into the $40’s. Losing large customers, shrinking margins, and piling lawsuits are ki-ling this company.
Yeah. I Needs to Improve my life and find a way out of here soon.
A manager friend of mine once said, "If an employee receives an 'NI' in a yearly review, it should come as no surprise to that person. There should be a history of meetings, during which concerns were discussed and goals were set for improvement. If it's out-of-the-blue, that's a sign of very poor management."
It's simple. Your boss thinks you're doing fine but you're either their least favorite or your work is slightly worse than others. They had to force some people to the bottom of the bell curve and you lost the office politics.
