it seems that everything posted on linkedin gets 1000 applications. feels impossible.

I recommend watching on Youtube "Life After Layoff".
My two cents....
- Try cold outreach (even if they do not have roles open)
- Target roles matching core strengths, spend more time on this
- Try referrals before applying online, sometimes it helps
- AI your resume for each application, make it customized, it's quick
- Be active on LinkedIn, profiles iwth more engagement rank better. It can be as stupid as liking something or you can share industry news.
