It's a ghost town on 19. They laid off the entire Marcomms team yesterday from the CMO, executive directors, social, literally everyone in GHQ and Serbia!!! This was huge because it wasn't just a few people but more like 70 or so. This seemed really personal or just fed up with a few people and decided to make the rest suffer as a message.

Anyone know whats going on in Serbia? Has anyone heard anythinf about a LABOR UNION being formed by workers in Belgrade? Who is the owner of this? Is the company supporintg this?

@OP It would be great if folks would actually know anything prior making a comment. This article is coming from someone very low in the feeding chain.
No one in Serbia was rifed. Not even all in US/EMEA. This person didnt receive an org update, otherwise would know that teams were restructured via 3 depts.
Seems more likely that they probably can't afford to pay them anymore if they wanted to.
For the first time in a long time, I've noticed certain things aren't getting paid for anymore. A warning sign? Or did they fire whoever was supposed to pay for those things? Either way, not a good look.
Apparently they think they don’t require Marketing anymore?
Sorry for all involved - but wish they’d taken this step before the recent questionable “re-rebrand”.
