@ed I love where your heads at but there’s 0 chance that free healthcare ever comes back we’ve been making less ever year since free healthcare was lost . At best raises have covered the healthcare increase each year . That means you haven’t gotten a real raise since what 2012? Yet the union pushes for raising minimum wage to 15 … outsourcing, available workers and decreasing jobs all contribute to keeping wages down and the union pushes it for non dues paying people while raising it to 15/hr just makes your wage buy less. You can’t argue with economics and math.
@eg all our contracts are between Verizon and CWA/IBEW. It’s all the same contract, with a few minor tweaks for specific areas.
@b3 Question - Local 2325 looks like IBEW. Does this even apply to Verizon/CWA talks?
We need to Vote No until they restore a pension for the new hires and we get back our free healthcare. The hall will try to polish some tu-d and try to get us to sign.
@OP keep guess as everything is locked down
I saw a few things on 2325 local looks to me like the talks were going well and that all sides again agreed to continue talks thru February 26th
@OP what local can I look for info
@a4 😂 raises offset MOST of healthcare increases pushed on members …. It’s been overall losses since free healthcare went away with Obamacare .
They better have a significant raise and I wouldn’t mind real profit sharing.
@OP huh??
