With the pending cuts and return to the office , I would like to know will the office be providing free coffee and lunch at least one day a week? Am i going to have equipment at the office and at home? I should not have to carry my computer, monitors, cables between home and the office.
I now will have lost time due to travel, have to spend money on travel to and from the office.
I have been told that it is expected we are in the office eight to five and they will be monitoring who is late or leaves early. This place gets worse by the minute

How long have you been with Global? You were never supposed to have been fully remote, you are lucky you've gotten away with it this long. Please check your attitude before coming back to the office, those of us that have been coming in don't want to hear it.
It may depend on the closest office you’re at. Otherwise, for myself monitors, cables, desk etc was all provided. The computer is a laptop, so not too cumbersome. Coffee yes, lunch no.
At the end of it, 3 days isn’t that bad. A lot of workplaces are moving to 5, because any that can be fully remote might as well be shipped elsewhere where you can pay a college grad $6 an hour with no benefits and they’ll break their knees to accept it. Not that I like it, but it makes sense.
If you don’t want it, I recommend applying now to get ahead and out. Things are rough out there.
I would love to have 3 days in office. You are still blessed. I was part of tsys for 17 yrs and then global payments took over and fired a bunch of us with ongoing layoffs. I got laid off in august 2024 when theh used mckinsey. I am now at fiserv in alpharetta and they require 5 days in office except for those who lived in areas where there was an office before covid but during covid the company got rid of the office building. I had to move to dawsonville ga which is nice because its close to the north ga mountains and waterfalls and hiking trails and such things. I hike mount yonah. I used to live in columbus ga, and AL during my years at tsys. In 20 yrs no growth for new opportunities there so I had to move. Living closer to the job is key to dealing with in office 5 days. Its exhausting though. But I would love to have what yall have. 2 days at-home. Count your blessings. Most places are now 5 days in office.
Go get a job somewhere else, where unless it is specifically a remote job, expect to be in the office 4-5 days a week. They are asking for 3 days! Now I’m not defending Global, sure it has it’s faults, but from what I hear from others who are no longer with Global, the grass ain’t greener on the other side.
My manager has told me I need to bring my desk in as well. Lucky I've got a van
This is the reason for the return to office. This type of entitled attitude.
Why on earth would you expect they owe you anything beyond a paycheck if you stay? If you’re looking for a family environment open your own business or go to work for a small company. I think you give up some things when you accept a job with a publicly held Fortune 500 company. And yes - monitors are readily available and have been for years.
Just ask IT for a monitor. Your manager can make the request.
It's Global, so my best piece of advice would be to be expect nothing; that way, you'll be happily surprised if they provide anything.
Yeah no one has ever had to carry monitors in and out of the office lol.
