It appears RIFs started in HC today, 2/19. I do not believe anyone was affected or at least reported anything during January. Likely just the beginning of markets’ adjustment. Please share any info as it unfolds.

@1d3 any particular area?
I was laid off 2/19 and met with the DCO that said this past Tuesday some of those in management were going to be laid off.
@a4 don’t forget we need to also do the learn sources on ethics, honesty, integrity…. Oh, and call PCP’s to report negligent patients health issues….
WI HC NPs were affected as well this recent layoff. I think a total of 10-15, there were 4 from my team. My heart goes out to all of them. Hopefully not many more coming our way but I’m not sure that will happen.
No CTMs or DCOs that I’m aware of during this round.
@a8 so sorry….just not right
@a4 AMEN !!!!!
@eg haven’t heard anything except CTM hinted we might be safe for now, CTM seemed less anxious than after the Jan update meeting like maybe they were told something.
Any info on Az market?
@aj Your coworkers are getting the axe. It’s called cleaning house. Can we all say Risk Adjustment.
@dq So sorry about that! The flexibility and low stress of this job su-kers us in and keeps us there. But there is no dignity in this job. I have no pride in telling people what I do and who I work for. You're going to go on to bigger and better things with a company that treats you with respect!
I am a NP in Alabama and was let go yesterday. My CTM didn’t even have the decency to be in the meeting just the DCO. She was at the first meeting which was a group of approximately 12 NPs but just couldn’t make the one on one because she has PTO. Seems pretty convenient. This company su-ks because they knew weeks ago and just left us all hanging.
@bb wondering that too. No post RIF meeting just the email that went out.
Entire West TX PBM & Quality department laid off today, 2/19
Is this it for HC or just a beginning? Anyone had a post RIF meeting with the team?
Did the DCO position get eliminated entirely? Per Cara’s email that went out earlier it says some positions were eliminated
@a4 unfortunately yes
We had several NPs laid off in Ga in Housecalls. The DCO for our area was let go too.
@aj I'm 100% not doing incentive hours.
They can go rot.
@a4 Many were and several DCO’s
I was in the meeting in January in which we were told to “be prepared for being laid off.” ……now my manager is asking if I want more hours?
Anyone have insight to the Texas market? Were numbers released for this year which would support more hours now?
@a3 do you know what state?
I’m an NP and was laid off today. I’m in KY
@a4 nailed it
@a4 this genuinely made my day. You hit the nail on the head!!!
@a4 Nah, probably busy giving each other back rubs and 4s, 5s on annual review for all the hard work that they did. Sending useless emails and riding along is not easy.
Any CTMs laid off from Housecalls? You know— the ones who sit at home behind their keyboard sending our their emails weekly announcing their what seems like weekly PTO while micromanaging the APCs and reducing our metrics because we didn’t check one single box on page 16 of our ridiculously slow laptops while driving 150 miles per day and seeing 7 high risk dual patients with 50 meds and 38 diagnoses? Any of that crew laid off?
Our Supervisor got laid off today, not HC.
