The great place to work

"I want to be fully clear and transparent on the great place to work programme"

doesn't mention that Cisco buys their way to the top
Ok

If you’ve no skills and all you do is politik, make up BS PPTs and cheer how wonderful Chuck’s suit or Fran’s jacket is on all-hands calls then Cisco is indeed a great place to work. How else can you make so much $$$ with zero skills? 60% of the entire company contribute nothing and are dead weight.

It is good place to learn wired and wireless technologies. A lot of training and hands on experience with networking devices and technologies.

Politics and culture is bad in many groups. Job cuts and bias is rampant. Fear of job loss is constant in many groups.

My conspiracy theory was that they were checking internal surveys to figure out who should get the external surveys. That, and directing the surveys to new hires / college intern folks.

Why people are paying any attention on that. CISCO is not an hands-on engineering / technical staffs driven company. CISCO employee who bothered to do the survey were mostly non engineering hands-on folks. For people do not need hard core engineering work - CISCO could be a great place to work.

Cisco is a great place to work for a certain type of worker.

Cisco is easily exploitable. The smart employees are working the system, keeping themselves just relevant enough to avoid LRs but otherwise slacking off and enjoying life.

Form employee’s union to make it great !

Don’t believe the b S from the top management.

They have been outsourcing to other countries so many years and brining in so many international contractors!! Selling our country all these years.

I saw this banner on the side of one of the Cisco buildings and I laughed so hard. I mean nobody thinks that. Less worse than Meta or Amazon maybe.
