@OP that's incomplete news. Complete news is that there will be no layoffs, economy will turn around, interest rates will again go down to 0.1%, companies will be flush with cash, hiring will be back across the tech sector, the square-face man in oval office will become sensible and we will live happily ever after.

@OP That's super great news. I only wished it was true. Oh well, at least it sounded good for a short second. Thanks for being optimistic even though we have face the pessimistic situation Qualcomm is in due to the memory chip issues in all things electronic.
@a6 How long did that 75% increase in salary last? Two months and now you're laid off again since you're the newcomer in the group. I rather keep my job that keeps the bills paid, healthcare coverage, and a few small side benefits. I won't get rich on it, but at least I'll be able to sleep that night.
The next day might be a whole different story with another layoff announcement, but I'll wait it out in this economy.

I left Q last month and I already got a job offer. I sh-t you not, I got a pay increase of approximately 75%.
Qualcomm is paying you peanuts and you have to manage in a toxic environment.
