I highly recommend working at Verizon! If you enjoy leadership that creates unnecessary chaos with constant reorgs to eradicate any potential for accountability, this is the place for you! As buzzword champion leaders play musical chairs, you can easily get away with doing next to nothing. Layoffs are common but not based on performance, just chance of whatever team you’re on at the time. Be sure to fill out pulse surveys and show up for group events for LinkedIn posts and you’re all set. Proud to be vz! Oh and we also are so stupid we think stock buybacks and layoffs to increase the stock price demonstrate competence.

@af right... former bell is the reason we need six 3min routines for the same job so there's something to make sure the lazy telco worker is doing each step even though the average person would understand that is normally just one job but no we need to break down everything and use old standards because that's how it always was.

@a6 GTE was years beyond before it was dr-g down and beaten like a step child. We never lost an office till the great bell took over and ki-led what was once a superior phone company that actually gave a sh!t. We've had to lower our standards to former bell so the engineers and slack union employees could do their job to "better standards." Whatever db.

Dan artificially pumping with buy backs to get his bonus then Vz will be ready for aquistion with Cable. Vz aquired aquiried second tier GTE then MCI fraud crew so BOD trend will be second tier cable.

For those of us at Vz in 4Q we know there was zero execution directed by Dan other than cut 13,000 contributing employees.

It will be realized 4Q results were fabricated by delaying booming disconnects
