Que the endless drones about "best practices"!
Can you the Tiger beat? The natives are panicking.
@da Just to pick one example, John Stratton made about $100 million from the sale of Frontier. I would be in a very congratulatory and thankful mood too if I had received such a windfall! I would even start thinking that Hans and his board are the bestest ever!
Are you telling us that $100 million wouldn’t sway your opinion?
@d3 I always thought that it’s in the higher up’s self-interest to choose the most competent person even if they’re not buddies because the results will make them look good.
It’s baffling to me that they consistently choose incompetent leaders that end up making them look bad.
Laughing how former NYNEX/Vz Wxecs left and run to Frontier and Other Fiber Companies and send Congrats to Sampath on closing Frontier deal for $20B. Clown car of Execs counting stocks
OPW has the same problems as New England. Hiring is all about favoritism not competence. Big time good old boy network.
@OP New England has been a wasteful underperforming mess forever but I seriously doubt that one more reorg is going to fix it because they always manage to choose unqualified or under-qualified people for the key positions.
There’s a serious dissonance between their actions and the stated goal of being a top performing network that delights its customers.
That would be great. You have never seen a bigger good old boy network. Changing things up would greatly improve morale.
