Any advice to ask hr or just make the transition better?

Take a day to review the severance with an attorney. Make sure the offer is fair and if there is anything you feel you need to be paid to keep silent use it and negotiate a higher severance. Make sure the NDA goes both ways if you do it and there's a non disparage agreement language added.
