Worth Avenue in Palm Beach is one of the most exclusive, high income areas on planet earth. If saks and Neiman’s closed both stores on worth Avenue, every other Saks and Neiman’s store in the country is in danger of closing. And saying that there is another Saks in palm beach gardens or Boca raton is not a valid argument, worth Avenue is the rodeo drive if the east coast.

Palm Beach has a lot of wealth, but luxury business is very small. NM store did poorly and closed because the season for shopping is limited and customer traffic very low. When open the Palm Beach store was the lowest volume NM store every year it was open.
