If sales coaches are training staff and sending stats what do the Managers do?

Inside sales is a job for high school grads and college grads
I looked up some of these sales coaches. They haven't even been in a sales role. I can't take them seriously when they give advice. SMH

Managers role numbers to VP and enforce micro manage metrics. As soon as 1Dell way is up and running, Managers will be impacted.
Don't know about how it's going on all teams, but fir mine all the coaches have been let go.
Managers don't manage. They're RSD PAs and whip the ISRs when they flag up on one of the many pointless box ticking reports, all with the same spineless catchphrase "play the game".
Am I right?
