Wondering if any noise around layoffs coming before the common reviews are completed. I thought they were to be scheduled this week or next week? It seems so quiet and slow.

I was told to do my 2&3’s first and they were all just laid off 2/19
@b4 I’m a sup as well, but haven’t been advised to get any of my 3s done first. Any update on your end?
@OP Many DFW clinics merging in the next few months. Leadership making their rounds informing clinic teams if their clinic will be closing and merging. Director is saying “Everyone is going and will have a seat on the bus”. I feel for employees if this is their first experience with clinic mergers and believe what they are preaching. Not everyone will get a seat. Many employers will be blindsided. Leadership lacks honesty, integrity and compassion for employees. I’ve lost all respect for my cowardice leadership over the last few years.
I’m just going to say it.
There’s talk about job changes and possible layoffs on the 19th, and the sudden shift in communication lately doesn’t feel normal. When leadership starts moving differently, there’s always a reason.
So I’ll ask what others may be thinking but aren’t saying — what do you know?
Have you seen the signs before? The random one-on-ones, increased leadership visibility, vague messaging, restructuring language, or sudden urgency?
For those who have been laid off before, what were the red flags you ignored — or only understood after the fact?
Let’s be honest. Companies rarely warn you. They reposition, they stay quiet, and then they act.
This isn’t about spreading rumors. It’s about recognizing patterns and being prepared instead of blindsided.
If you know something, saw something, or experienced this before, say it. Silence only protects the company, not the people.
Information shared was that United is looking to save $1 billion dollars this year. (Billion, with a B).
I would say RIFs will be a part of that savings.
@b8 is it the IEX thing?
@OP, my timecard is greyed out starting 2/26/2026 so I'm thinking I'll be let go then.
Sup here. Was told to deliver my 2s and 3s reviews first and to get them done ASAP. Heard layoffs were slated for after merit so they don’t have to pay out the full pool. Word is anyone who is a 2 or under is gone and lots of leaders. Waiting for my video email like those NJ reps.
