Severance pay in Texas and years of employment

Does anyone know what is the policy for Severance pay in Texas and if/how it is tied to the number of years of employment?

Thanks

Since 2020, there have regular yearly and seasonal RIFS at BB. During my time here I have heard from those affected that it was 1 week per year of service. I would imagine there would be a limit. @aq mentioned someone at 25 years only receiving 2 months, that could the limit.

Texas: are you a giant corporation? No? Fu-k you.

Sorry, but do not expect anything good from an HR perspective from Texas laws. Same in SC.

Both TX and SC are at will states. Only data point I'm aware of was from a post on this site from someone based in Charleston that received 2 months of garden leave after 25 years of service.
