Thread regarding Edward Jones layoffs

Continued Efforts to Create Attrition

Enterprise Reimagined was positioned as a top down reorganization to ensure headcount was aligned to efforts appropriately. People were laid off, demoted, and moved to new teams. The dust on all of that hasn't settled yet and the firm is introducing more policies that obviously intend to get people to quit. Enterprise Reimagined should have accomplished any headcount reduction goals.

Bonus levels right after this were a 9 instead of a 10...so these changes aren't even yielding expected profits since the norm has been to have level 10 bonuses.

Such a colossal waste of time. Leadership is more interested in torturing home office associates and exerting control rather than creating business results.

@bp lolol most likely the one closest to the new york soyboy clique` ...What they don't see is the job market is total shyt right now, so people won't quit like they think. Associates will comply to buy time, but do bare minimal while also doing things to hinder any would be growth. Then they will have to layoff via severance or be stuck with us peasants as productivity goes down, morale goes down, culture toxic, reputation toxic around STL, and random things get broken or destroyed around home office. People that love their coworkers here but hate management have a way of making things absolutely disgusting if need be. The greedy entitled GP's with a room temp IQ really do belive that the cheap indian labor is going to bankroll their new boat down at the ozarks. Mo--ns.

We are in a "beatings will continue until morale improves" phase. I wonder which consulting firm recommended it.

Never trust what the rich at the top tell you. they will tell you whatever they think you will believe if it gets them what they want. If they say they are physically burning money to make a political statement, they did it for marketing and the numbers told them this was a higher yield return than their other options. If they say they are committed to in-person work and live near the office personally to make you think they care about making you do it too they arent telling you about the beach house they spend their weekends at and the private jet they use to get there, the chauffeur that drives them in a rolls royce every morning, that they maybe spend 4 hours a day in office and that they spend half of that time getting a massage.

They will always tell you whatever makes them more money. If lying to us about ER did nothing but keep you working until they dont actually need you anymore, it worked.
