They didn't wait until 2023, they laid off in Devices. this was beyond the vrp.
Maybe it’s positive that layoffs have been pushed back into 2023? If not, imagine all the people on here saying thinks like “layoffs during the holidays, what monsters.”
Not only has Amazon waited until after the holidays, they’ve given employees a heads-up so they can find other jobs, update resumes, and come to terms with what’s happening. Amzn leaves employees with a lot to complain about, but I do think their leadership has a conscience (at least more so than most other Fortune 50 companies).
