Thread regarding Medtronic Inc. layoffs

I'm afraid this is the direction we are heading

Layoffs will be every quarter now. Had meetings today asking us to divest suppliers, slowly selling us for parts. All these executives who stayed for 1-2 years destroyed business units and jumped ship before anyone caught on to their fraud. Anyone left is clueless. A matter of time where investors see all the fraud.

No doubt, it's not the direction you should be questioning now, it's the timeline.

Key indicators of down turn.

  1. Multiple executives voluntarily left or retired abruptly in the past 4 years (CFO, HR EVP, COO, CTO, on and on)

  2. Continued supply chain challenges and id--tic VAVE/STOP initiatives destroying relationships with good suppliers.

  3. Penny pinching the small things (recognize points, toilet paper, maintenance in facilities, etc)

  4. Shipping multiple jobs and functions overseas (MEIC, Indonesia, China, etc).

  5. Musical chairs of GMs, VPs, Directors to land where somewhere safe and leave the rest of us to die. Corporate greed and selfishness

  6. Elliot Management, they want a return on their investments as soon as possible, and by any mean necessary. They are not called vulture investors for nothing.

  7. CEO has to play ball or get out, unfortunately he doesn’t have the courage to lead, that’s the GE way, squeeze ever cent out and not leading by innovation.
