I can only imagine how the people cut this week are feeling. The rest of us will probably spend it consumed with anxiety over next week. About which we still know almost nothing. What a way to treat people.

@am Like that's going to happen?
Nah. I'm finna be chillin! Corporate doesn't do anything anyway. It's crazy this company spent so much on them and neglected the store staff for so long. Good riddance! Pay the staff more and get back to actual customer service!
@OP Walgreens has been treating employees like garbage for years. Par for the course.
Corporate America at its finest…Little to no communication at store level. Thankfully I am planning my exit from Walgreens
I would say that those who were let go will be having a much better weekend than those who are staying. Take it from someone who was cut, they just paid me to leave when I was already on my way out. This company is circling the drain. Now that even more talent was cut, I'd hate to be one of the ones still aboard.
I feel your pain but every company lays people off, what do you expect them to do? It's not like they're sending you emails saying "get ready for mondayyyyyy" you only know because you refresh rumor boards. If you want it to be a surprise. Don't go on a rumor board.
