For those RIF'd while on leave, did your separation date match your leave end-date, or were you cut sooner?

Your notice period begins when you are notified that you are impacted not when you return from leave. So if you return before the end of that period, you have the remainder of that time before termination. If it's beyond that period, you are terminated upon return.
Are you back for 1 single day, just to process termination, or do you still have to serve out your 30/60/90 day notice you would have been given if not on leave?
