Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

The job market is terrible, but the unprofessionalism makes it worse. I've been left hanging after final interviews twice now. Since when did it become okay to just vanish on a candidate? It adds a whole other layer of stress to an already hard process.

@kh maybe government contracts or subsidies to encourage not offshoring.

Too late for Sabre but we won't be working for Sabre after Sabre lays us off.

Can't the government do something to discourage offshoring?

Making it more difficult to import foreigners to work jobs in the US just encourages companies to move jobs out of the US, not hire US citizens for US jobs.

Something needs to be done to increase US jobs for US citizens.

Ex Sabre...only jobs are temp contracts since COVID stay tough. Many have lost everything.
