That doesn’t make sense. All of the old boomers that hang on don’t make sh-t.

New hires into the company usually end up with offers exceeding the greybeards.

The company has no problem spending $20k in search costs to backfill a role where the incumbent left over a challenge to a $4k comp increase request for someone with 25 years of experience in favor of someone that doesn’t know sh-t that they will hire at a 30% comp premium over the old guy.

Too many departments (with legacy cvs leadership) think that their employees are perfectly happy busting their a-s all day every day so they can get a 4% annual raise over the people who phone it in and get 3%. Break your a-s off to hopefully get 1% more than your peers who don’t do sh-t.

@an no it’s right if you include service ops and sales.

It’s more if you consider their attached DDAT continingent workers.

The org charts are too sc--wey to figure out until you’ve made changes to one. That’s when you start to understand how small and inbred this place really is despite being fortune 5.

@hn - That is a rhetorical question. You know the answer. He has already accomplished it but with less fanfare because CVS Health is so large ...

Thank you.

With the great reshuffling after Karen where Aetna folks were moved around, I have lost track of former coworkers. There are as you say it long in the tooth people whom I knew of who were under the wrong umbrella.

I'm concerned that Tilak will Disney-fy the entire company.
The hearings on Capitol Hill only add fuel to the fire.

@an , there really is a large contingent of people in small group, but the laid off personnel are not only from small group business positions . The letter describing it as a small group business layoff is a lie. It is, as another person describes it, a method of eliminating personnel to achieve lower payroll hires for long in the tooth colleagues (I know of two great managers who are not in small group on this list). I’m only sad that Tim isn’t on it.

Aetna/CVS is a horribly managed company. Lead Directors on up.

The warn notice is a typical cycle of laying off positions that could be rehired in future at a lower rate.

It’s not just small group.

Are there really 313 people in small group business? That number seems large for that sector.
