The question is not who is getting fired but who Dan is bringing in. As typical of ex Payapl, he is bringing in his old friends, from paypal, who absolutely has no knowledge of Telecom. These 'executives' will get Millions in compensation and then quietly retire once they finally sink the Vz ship.

People are "celebrating" Sampath's departure because he was a terrible leader who made terrible decisions that hurt the company, and hurt many people's lives. He is not a rank and file employee who now has to worry about paying his mortgage - he is an executive who will be getting an executive level golden parachute.
Agreed, I was tuned in to get excited about something. Whether it be strategy, direction, or change, but all we got was a 40 minute rant on AI. No info on execution, no next steps, just have positive feelings about the company. The ship doesn’t seem to have a captain.
