Anyone notice that some teams are getting cash incentives instead of a trip? Think it's because those groups won't be around long enough to go on a trip

Great I won Presidents club and just got laid off! This is wild to me. I was just over the limit to win the trip and was one of the two to go.

From what I am hearing: There are a # of seats dedicated to each division. To give a fair opportunity, the idea is to rotate which departments in each division get seats each quarter. The ones who dont get seats will get a cash incentive and will get seats in the following quarter.
If we were laying them off, why give them anything?
