If there were any other options. But the way things are, most of us are stuck here until something else comes along. I'm absolutely furious at being cornered like this. I'm sure the corporate overlords everywhere are loving these circumstances.

you sound like the typical low-agency person who keeps complaining about their job but is too lazy to update their resume and search for other places. Better to move out now that you are employed than wait for severance to run out!
Just move your lazy a$$!
Something else won't come along if you don't make the effort to look. Be active in your job hunting and escape.
