I know this is not layoff related, so feel free to ignore it, but my current role and environmental in the BGCO feels toxic. I want to look at other BGCO roles and was thinking about the advanced solutions team. Does anyone have any insight into that team or know if they are considered a part of Dans future plan? Are they likely to have less layoff impacts because of what they do? Is the environment a good one?

I was apart of the BGCO and impacted with the Dec19th layoffs. Nothing seems secure Advanced Solutions, Tech, GEA,Ordering and On boarding. With outsourcing and automation all groups have their days numbered.

not sure what the other 2 replies are talking about, but i am within that team and neither me nor my team was impacted by the layoffs. cant speak to what will happen this year.
BGCO is dead. I suggest learning how to plumb, as most of VZ back office roles are targeted for automation and AI.
BGCO is all outsourced. Are you employed by VZ?
