What Verizon desperately needs is more McKinsey MBAs telling us how we need to run our network and services. First, they can ask all the folks with industry knowledge on what the issues are, then they can ask the various teams for solutions and then finally package all of that into a pretty PowerPoint deck (with fancy eye candy charts) and present it to our dear leaders, who will lap it up as they don’t know any better.

@OP What effing dopes are upvoting this flaming pile?!
McKinsey have a history of embedding themselves in companies and offering zero value and charging a fortune for their "Methodology". There is a history of failures listed on the internet and there have been many expose shows on TV that have highlighted their failures. They come in with promises of riches and leave with a workforce in tears!
They r here to destroy the soul of the companies.
@c2 Quality documentary there!
Unless McKinsey suggests an anti bully leadership policy, no amount of cost cutting will fix the culture . Not much positive or creative thinking comes out of fear and stress. Great talent can find work in a better environment
@bx I wonder if ATT owns all their office buildings?
Mckinsey just tells what the board doesn't want to say. They gonna be like McKinsey said cut here and here and they are the professionals, so we went along with their recommendations. While behind the scenes it was always board decisions.
VERY SCARY eye opening 3 minute video documentary on McKinsey:

McKinsey is what started 5 day RTO at ATT, so look out!
McKinsey is already embedded in the board of directors ... nothing good will come out of that. We need something like what Elliot Management did to ATT several years back, and managed to save some of the company value. But I think that ain't gonna happen in Verizon.
