Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Profit sharing (ps)

Do you folks in the US get another PS lump sum in addition to the Dec bonus? Is everyone entitled to it? How much do u normally get?

And if anyone here is part of NM leadership, how bout you grow a pair and start advocating for your employees, instead of being a yes man bc you are all set with your cushie salary ..
. "OH they'll be fine... they make enough. I got me mines."
WAKE UP! A one bedroom apartment in a safe neighborhood is $1400 a month. Start being a leader with integrity. We are a minority state with lowest wages in USA, crime and dr-gs. Don't you think those of us wha are working deserve to be treated like the lowest level entry employee at other locations and get a bit of profit we helped create.. how do you sleep at night knowing you have no backbone? I said it... digest it and tell me, how is any of this fai

Unless you work in New Mexico ... highest minority population and lowest pay.... no profit sharing...because you know we brown people dont need money and don't work hard. We are used to being overworked and underpaid. When will this ever get addressed. You know it would be a speck of dust for Abby to change this and cost her very little. Instead they allow us to feel like second class citizens even with petitions etc. No one cares..
As a minority with a degree and having scraped my way thru college, I have never claimed discrimination or poor treatment. Fidelity needs to put their money where their mouth is and stop talking about equity and inclusion and start living it.

@av I agree! Some of my younger co- workers don't appreciate what you've stated about the total compensation offered - it's an excellent overall compensation picture when you factor everything in

Profit sharing is actually 10% of your base plus your bonus into 401k, not cash.

Plus the 7% match throughout the year.

Plus shares that pay out in March.

People who think Fidelity doesn’t pay well aren’t looking at the whole picture or they don’t pay attention to their retirement.

Name another company that gives you 17% of your base + bonus into retirement. It’s insane!

we get 10% of our base into our 401k except people in Albuquerque who get nothing because Abby needs to cut corners (the Johnsons are barely getting by)
