FYI if u have Verizon stock in your 401k and choose to select cash instead of dividend reinvestment it gets treated as regular income when the dividend pays.

Just like this coming Monday.

Even though it’s coming from the 401k.

No penalty and depending how much stock you have can add up.

Call Fidelity if you have questions.

I don’t recall ever seeing an option to receive cash in my 401k?

The fast cash you received from the stock options have already been taxed.

Again call Fidelity if you are not sure.

That is correct as it was given to you (FREE) and you have not paid taxes, so its taxable
