Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Citrix does not care about employees

No matter how hard you work, it is never enough. We are expected to work on weekends and holidays. I'll even have to work this Christmas to catch up with everything they've been piling up on me. I'm getting sick and tired of this. Especially since managers somehow always have weekends off. As-----s.

Severance isn't an issue. That's pocket change for the PE owners of CSG.

They likely don't care either. That's a common theme. Nobody really cares...

They want you to quit so they don't have to pay you a severance.

That of course includes you too... right?

Who knows, I may already be gone. I might be here for entertainment value or not.

"I'm getting sick and tired of this." - Okay, then leave. Note all the other posters here that say they don't care about anyone but themselves. That's the new CSG culture.

So, other employees don't care about you either, it's not just the managers.

"Citrix has the worst workplace culture ever!" - We're in agreement, and that's why most of the top talent has already departed this dumpster fire

We didn't need Chomsky to tell us that corporate profits take precedence over the wider needs of the population. :)

“ Chomsky argues that the doctrines and development of a pro-corporate system, consisting of economic and political policies that restrict the public arena and support private power, acts essentially as a social hierarchy which places the drive for profit over the wider needs of the population”

Before they were trying to get you to quit, they always took credit for everything you did. They climbed the ladder and forgot about the people that got them there. You get promoted by backstabbing not how well you performed. It was all about what did you do for Citrix versus keeping customer's happy. So glad this company is dying! Will celebrate when I see ELT and VP's from the area out of a job.

Hello. Every company out there does not care about their people! If they say they do its a lie! Profits that is what natters to company's that is why they exist. This in not corp bashing just the reality. So don't think by going elsewhere you will see something different. Its all the same eveyrwhere. Fortune 500, start ups, and mom and pop businesses are all in it for the money not the people they hire. The sooner you realize and accept this the sooner you will be in peace.
Even charities like red Cross and Goodwill are in it for the money

The Citrix culture is the reason I am so glad I don’t work there anymore! They think the more hard managers are on you and the more you work it will help the company. I am so glad I now work at a company that is doing so well and has a great environment. Citrix has the worst workplace culture ever!
