How do I get a medical retirement from this place

Stress will only get you out on temp disability, that is a good example of needing 2 years of medical paper trails for occupational disability. if done right I can see that you can start the 2 year paper trail going out on temp for its entirety (I think temp is 2 years) so if enough evidence is gained in that 2 year process, you could slide into occupational disability......I just don't remember if temp is 1 or 2 years max.

In a nutshell, 1st reply is dead on. Might I add that if you do not have certain medical issues you will have to have 2 years of medical documentation, in many cases if the issues are subjective.....way to much to elaborate on, you will have to do a lot of homework and you will see what I am talking about. Knowledge is king, and something you can't just do on the whim if it is subjective (again for subjective issues)
Easy... if you have 20 years service have your dr write that your unable to physically continue doing railroad work, if your less than 20 your dr will have to write that you can’t work ANY occupation (which will be almost impossible)
