I was laid off 1/23 and was lucky enough to get a job back at UHG. My Optum manager has been unbelievably cold even though I was told there was nothing personal about it. I will not take the risk of working for Optum again. Good bye orange and blue logo. It now makes me feel sick to see it.
It’s about time we start asking about making a difference so our stock goes up. I asked my manager and she just shrugged.. what is leadership really doing?

It's the same thing every month the week after layoffs. RIF a bunch of people, share dismal earnings results, then have a "pep rally" to pretend everything is great by talking about how great the company is and what it's innovating. Ask employees to submit questions but answer exactly zero that ask the hard questions demanding explanations and accountability.
This current speaker is the only one on the panel who seems to have any iota of what is going on in the financial or political arena, waiting for the AI guy to cut in and point out that he used CoPilot to figure out what a Republican and Democrat are.
