There's a storm coming, MDs and Ds. You and your friends better fatten your HYSA, because when layoffs hit in March, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us C13-C10.

March ?? Layoffs started in February. I was just RIF's in Tech by the Worst "Manager" in the Universe ! I was hoping for this and anyway, I saw the writing on the wall back in Fall 2025.

I was in Retail Tech. Only a Toxic corporate culture like CIti's would keep this "Manager" employed for so many years. More than 50% of his employees quit/attrite every year!

Citi......What a dysfunctional H3ll Hole Clown Show ! LOL !

Some poster said that commercial slogan ? The Sh!tty never sleeps. Sh!ttybank ! LOL!

You're correct about choosing snail mail instead of electronic anything, paystubs, W2s, etc..

Citi and other employers want to save money on postage and printing paper so they try to sell to employees via email that they should choose or opt-in to get electronic everything in Workday.

Do NOT do this. Employees should always assume they may be Laidoff or Fired from their jobs. Once you're Laidoff or Fired you will NO longer have access to Workday or whatever HR/Payroll platform the company uses.

Always choose to receive Paper/Snail Mail documents.

For the past 10 years every single quarter there’s been someone out there spouting that layoffs are a comin Bob. I don’t think there’s been a word invented yet to express how little I care if I get let go. Just numb to it all.

I don’t feel sorry for any MD or D that is laid off. They’re all rude and forget where they came from and treat their teams like trash. Maybe they will all get humbled and realize who does the real work at this company.

Cannot wait for them to get rid of all DS and MDs. SVPs add some value and lead execution. Every department based on size needs only 1 or 2 Mds and 3 or 4 directors max.
