I don't know anyone who thinks this is a good idea. Another company using collaboration as an excuse and not telling their own employees the real reasons why. What difference do they think one extra day would make for productivity??? It means less work-life balance, and a way for them to either control employees or kick them out the door without doing another round of layoffs. Sumit needs to hang his head in shame at his attitude towards criticism, how can he call himself a leader?
Feels a bit like retaliatory action because not everyone said they liked him in the survey. Are CEO egos really this delicate that unless they receive universal praise they will blindly lash out at everyone around them to the detriment of the company as a whole?
They made a big song and dance about wanting a high performing organization and then created a policy that will ensure every high performer walks out the door into a new role elsewhere.
Honestly, everyone should leave. Sumit Dhawan is encouraging everyone to leave, as he said in a recent townhall, "if you are unfavourable, why are you here?".
This was after being questioned on employee wellbeing, amongst other things in a Townhall recently.
This isn't a way to flush out bad or good employees, it's just bringing down the whole company as a whole. Terrible leadership. They give a voice, and it goes in one ear and out the other. It's a do as I say leadership of get the f-out.
Only Support and Support managment are required to be in office, everyone else is hybrid or WFH full-time. It's pathetic. RTO to talk to everyone on Teams and Zoom. Such a stragetic plan Sumit.
Nah. If that bi--h works remote then I work remote.
I’m assuming layoffs are coming. My fellow 4 people in the office while the rest of the group around the world is remote is the biggest punishment. Love how they announced this AFTER the employee surveys.
I wonder if this is how they expect for more people to jump ship and leave before a new round of layoffs is announced, as that’s pretty much what happened last time.
