Work used to excite me as did the careers within a career promise. Wish I still felt that way.

@202 I believe it all and couldn’t understand why the old guys were what I thought was so mad and bitter all the time. I understand now. I sometimes wish I was still young and naive. It was better for my mental health for sure!
I regret buying into this B/S early in my career, heck even repeating it when interviewing candidates.
Young bloods beware, seek future elsewhere.

The company executives traded our careers for jobs, that way they can justify the statements that we are overpaid.
So glad that I am now retirement eligible. I suspect very few recent campus hires will retire from EM.
If they offered an early retirement program, I think several would take it.
Never stop looking for the next job, ever.
What's more exciting than possibly getting blindsided with a PIP in a few months?
Just remember our people are our most valuable resource, are top of mind and are our top priority.
