At least, no layoffs at MMWB

MMWB Inc. Helps Firms Prevent Layoffs Via System Fixes

MMWB Inc. helps companies prevent layoffs by fixing operational systems. This approach eliminates waste that drains productivity and morale. Founder Ben Klaiber notes employees spend 25% of time fighting bad systems. Fixing these issues recovers lost capacity and improves performance. The Toledo firm works closely with a limited number of clients.

Honestly this is the first "consulting" pitch I've seen that actually gets what's broken.

Every place I've worked, leadership thinks the problem is "we need better tools" or "people need more training" and then six months later we have MORE systems and everyone's still spending half their day copy-pasting between them.

The issue isn't that systems don't integrate. It's that even when they DO integrate, the data is formatted for databases, not for humans trying to answer a customer question in 30 seconds.

Like yeah, all our customer data is "in the CRM" but good luck pulling what you actually need for a live chat without clicking through 6 tabs and reformatting everything.

If this company actually sits with teams and fixes THAT instead of just writing another report, they might be onto something.

Skeptical but interested. Anyone actually worked with them?
