Senior leaders and senior citizens!
They only get rid of managers who genuinely care. Just look at this administration and the same can be applied to our leadership. Either fall in line and agree with the d-mb BS no matter how re--rded it is, or you will get cut.
And if they don't get rid of you, they'll put you into a position where your talent is wasted anyways. It's hilarious the number of developers we have being forced to work on AI projects that are going nowhere, just because leaders want to boast about # of AI projects, not the quality of products.
@a2 Yes that is the same strategy every quarter for years. There have also been thousands let go each quarter and almost never trigger WARN notices. I lost 2 managers and 2 second line managers in 18 months and they were all part of RIF waves.
So if all of this happened on Friday all over is it because it is mostly all remote and sprinkle all over the usa to not trigger a warn notice?
