Commission

If you’re severed from a sales role, do you receive commission included in your severance for the amount of months equal to 2 weeks for every year worked?

Laid off R2B here. I received commission. I had an annual base of 50k. Each month my at risk commission for hitting 100% to plan was $2,875. So on my severance sheet they stated me making 100% of my commission plan would be $2,875 x 12 months = $34,500. Therefore it showed my annual salary at $84,500. (My $50k base plus 100% to target for the year). Then they did $84,500 divided by 52 weeks is $1,625 per week or two weeks of pay would be $3,250. I was employed 6 years so I received $19,500 severance payment.
