Very smart people, especially Brahmins and IIT grads.
Cheap and Compiant. They don't want them to think. Closest thing robots you can get but when the robots come, they'll come for everyone's job.
Have you met any outspoken Indians that openly disagree with their manager? They are very compliant and mostly agreeable to work with.
Google interviews are very technical and there is team match phase to make sure you are indian.
They do a better job at computer.
It seems like they just "take over" existing roles in companies with an established money making machine. If they are that amazing, since they get so much investment from the U.S., I would expect to see tech companies in India at least on the scale of Alibaba, Tencent, etc, but all you see is offices of U.S. tech giants there.

The question to ask is why the tech firms prefer their talent over yours? Could be that they are willing to work longer hours and work harder for less $? If that is the case, then you may have to compete on that level as well. Blame the company for finding more value in a foreign worker but please do not blame that worker.
