Why burn the gas to go into the office if I get RIF’d? My team/management isn’t there anyway. I’ll wait for the unexpected Teams Invite or call in the morning.

I mean even if tomorrow wasn’t a layoff day you should still stay home. What are they gonna do, fire you? It’s up to managers to enforce RTO, and I doubt most managers care, especially if they don’t work in your office
Same here. I don't need to drive in dangerous cold conditions just to be sitting at a desk with strangers when I'm let go. My manager isn't at my office so f them!
