Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

In Office Requirement

I am considering joining Chase in the US, but is it full 5 days in office? I am coming from another company that is not fully 5 days in office. Do they track attendance here strictly?

Anyone know about WFH flexibility for Plano’s campuses? I’m looking at Loan Servicing roles and was told it is 5 days in office, but hearing from a few internal employees that it all depends on the department, your manager, and how many hours.

Medical accommodations are not being given. They go straight to Operating Board for approval. Anyone doing fulltime wfh is chronic illness, after lots of discussion and diagnoses.

5 day in office being strictly enforced. That’s why lots of people are leaving in all LOBs, all LODs. No reason to stay for lowest pay in industry, surveillance system on par with Alcatraz, toxic work groups and unhygienic workplaces.

You should openly and transparently discuss with the hiring manager.
The overarching policy is RTO/5
In practice, you may be able to negotiate the number of hours or which hours you need to be present in the office.
Best to negotiate up front.

Horrible bank to work for. Steer clear. You’d have to double my pay to even consider working at that sweat shop.

It definitely depends on your role. I am work from home, however I am definitely the minority. Most groups are in office full time, disclose your role and maybe we can offer more insight.

Best of luck!

Depends on the group but some of my coworkers who have wfh for years (pre pandemic) now are being asked to sit in office.

Most roles require 5 days and yes you are tracked based on where you log on.

If you want to have remote schedule then JPM is not for you.

yea you will have a dashboard tracking your attendance , you can do wfh here and there if your manager is cool with it, but you gotta enter it into the system.

That's true. If you value flexibility, I'd recommend steering clear of JPMC if you can.

Yes, five full days. Strictly enforced with no exceptions.
