The data on the NJ.gov website clearly shows all the VZ NJ employees coming off 2/20.
Sign your severance when the document generates (15 days before off payroll date) and get your last few pennies from big red before it goes belly up.
It depends on what they used for the locations of greater than 50. Verizon has stated that California WARN notices were issued only for two of the worksites and those employees received 60 days. The others who were categorized as hybrid only received 30. There is some questions surrounding how those hybrids were counted, this may be the case for NJ also.
I was wondering what the basis was as well. I’m in NJ and my off date is in February, My understanding is I do not have to sign for the NJ required 1 week pay per year of service and that must be paid within a week of my off date, Not sure what the class action is for unless NJ residents were given less than 90 day notice.
My understanding is that NJ requires 90 days notice now (not 60) and that NJ employees got that as their term date is not til the end of Feb. So what's the basis for the lawsuit?
