Does anyone know if the company mails out W2s prior to January31st?

W2 arrived today.
Here we are 2/2 and still no W2 in the mailbox.
Here we are 1/31 and its not in the mailbox. Perhaps next week it will arrive.
@20t I think they could have got them out sooner.
I called UHG employee center today 1/28/2026 and the automated voice recording said that if you are a former employee inquiring about W-2s that they will be mailed to the last mailing address you had on file with the company before you were laid off. I said they will be post marked by Jan 31st and that if you do not receive it by Feb 16th then you can call them and ask for a reprint to be sent. The number for UHG employee center is 1-800-561-0861
They are required to by law.
